Definition: For the linear function $f(x) = mx + b$ when $m
\ne 1$, the focus point of $f$, is the point of
intersection of any two lines that coincide with two distinct arrows
on the mapping diagram for $f$. When $m=1$ we say the focus
point is the point at infinity.
